We learnt about physical and human features linked to famous landmarks in North America
After learning about the famous landmarks in North America, in small groups we built some. We got very creative.
We learnt the key vocabulary for our new topic, North America through a fun game of Quiz, Quiz Trade.
We enjoyed our celebrations for King Charles 111 Coronation. We could come to school dressed in red, white and blue, we enjoyed a picnic on our school field and took part in lots of activities including a quiz to test our knowledge about the Royal Family.
We were asked by the local fish and chip shop to decorate some plaques for the King's Coronation. They are now hung in the window of the chippy :)
On Wednesday 3rd May, we held our World War 2 Showcase afternoon for our parents. We showed them all the learning that we did last half term. It was a great afternoon. Some of us even came to school in World War 2 costume :)
We have enjoyed playing rounders, Miss Tasker's favourite. We have been practising the skills needed to play the game.
