Year 1 and Year 2 Great Fire of London display.
We took part in the Reindeer Rush for St John's Hospice. The children showed great perseverance, as they ran 6 laps around our school!
Our science learning this half-term is 'Seasonal Changes'. We enjoyed going outside and noticing the change in weather as we enter winter. We observed lots of different changes, for example, ice, frost, and bare trees.
We have been learning about capacity and volume in our maths learning. The children compared the volume of different liquids and measured the volume of liquids, reading different scales.
We took part in Children in Need to raise money for a very worthy cause! The children had fun taking part Children in Need themed activities!
In English this half-term, we have been exploring poetry using senses for description. The children performed a senses poem in small groups and used their five senses, exploring and writing what they could see, hear, taste, feel and smell.
In Maths, Year 1 and Year 2 have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes. The children enjoyed taking part in a carousel of activities, learning about the properties of shapes.
