🌟 Our Learning

In Rabbit Class, we celebrate every child as an individual. Learning is carefully tailored to meet each child’s needs, combining:

• Elements of the Early Years Foundation Stage

• The Equals Formal Curriculum

• Red Rose Phonics

• Each child’s personalised EHCP targets

We provide a nurturing, structured environment where children can explore, succeed, and enjoy their learning.

We have an exciting range of themes to explore together:

• Colours and Celebrations

• Animals

• Transport

• Castles and Homes

• Fairytale Places

These topics will be brought to life through creative activities, stories, role play, outdoor learning, and hands-on experiences.

ℹ️ Important Information

• PE: Our PE sessions take place this half term on Tuesday morning and Friday morning. Please ensure children have full PE kit in school

• Reading: We enjoy sharing books every day. Reading experiences may include story time, sensory books, or phonics-based reading depending on each child’s needs.

• Home Learning: We provide a home learning menu each term with a range of practical, creative activities you can enjoy at home.

• Communication: We use ClassDojo and regular phone calls to keep you updated and to share successes. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’d like to talk about your child’s progress or wellbeing.

• Celebrating Achievements: We love sharing children’s achievements, big and small, both in school and at home. Please let us know of any special moments we can celebrate together.

• Awards: A weekly 'Golden Moment' and Dojo champion certificates are awarded each Friday afternoon.
