🦔 Welcome to Hedgehog Class!

We are so excited to share our learning journey with you this year.

In Hedgehog Class, we celebrate every child as an individual. Learning is carefully tailored to meet each child’s needs, combining:

These topics will be brought to life through creative activities, stories, role play, outdoor learning, and hands-on experiences.

PE: Our PE sessions take place this half term on Monday morning and Wednesday afternoon. Please ensure children have full PE kit in school.
Reading: We enjoy sharing books every day. Reading experiences may include story time, sensory books, or phonics-based reading depending on each child’s needs.
Home Learning: We provide a home learning menu each term with a range of practical, creative activities you can enjoy at home.
Communication: We use ClassDojo and regular phone calls to keep you updated and to share successes. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’d like to talk about your child’s progress or wellbeing.
Celebrating Achievements: We love sharing children’s achievements, big and small, both in school and at home. Please let us know of any special moments we can celebrate together.
Awards: A weekly 'Golden Moment' and Dojo champion certificates are awarded each Friday afternoon.
